HOW IT BEGAN

Our love story

Umar and Nayoa both come from the town of Almere, where they even attended the same secondary school. Three years apart, they were in different phases of life, each focused on their own direction, hardly noticing the other at the time.

Shortly after her first year of secondary school, Nayoa moved to Ibiza, though it didn’t immediately feel like home.

She moved back and forth between Ibiza and Amsterdam, searching for where she truly belonged. During those same years, Umar was finding his own path, slowly discovering what suited him.

Much later, their paths crossed again. By chance, they met at a birthday, started talking, and simply never stopped. Umar eventually moved to Ibiza, and from there, their paths continued as one.

We’ve chosen to keep our wedding very small and intimate, sharing the day with the people closest to our hearts.

That’s why the invitation is meant for the person(s) named. Most of the day will be adults-only, with just a few children from our immediate family there as well.
Elegant, semi-formal attire in earthy tones would be perfect for our day.
Both light and dark shades are welcome.
We’ll have our day captured by a photographer and videographer. During the ceremony, we invite you to simply be there with us and enjoy the moment, without phones or cameras.

Some guests choose to come just for the wedding, while others stay a few extra days to enjoy the island.

Yes, transportation will be arranged.
We’ll share the details closer to the date and make sure everyone is well informed.
